BNP will put up two candidates
The recent article in the Dsily Mail about Donna Bailey shows that BNP members appear to be caring,responsible members of the community who are willing to work for the best of the community they live in.Maybe we should be looking at the BNP in a new light and giving them a chance to show what they can do for the good of all. I am not a party member but am increasingly impressed by what I hear of the good work BNP members seem to be capable of. .
Drew Barrymore's Acne Struggle
Drew Barrymore has been seapking out about her struggle with acne and her suprise at being named as a 'Hollywood Beauty'. The ET and Charlies Angels star said that she has always battled with acne problem and had to work hard to keep her skin clear. "My only beauty recommendation is zit cream. I couldn't live without it. I get zits all the time and they annoy me more than anything else in the world," she said, according to contactmusic. .
Thai PM outlines plans in his first weekly talk show
BANGKOK, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- Thailand's newly elected Prime Minister Samak Sundaravej said Sunday in his first weekly talk show through state TV and radio that he believed he can govern the state to a good future. The talk show, named "Samak Talk", was the first of its kind since his six-party coalition government took office Thursday. Samak disclosed in the program that the Cabinet at its weekly meeting next Tuesday will discuss two important issues, namely the foreign capital reserve requirement policy and the draft government policy. After the 2006 coup, the Bank of Thailand issued a 30 percent foreign capital reserve requirement policy, which has caused a lot of controversies, especially among foreign investors who thought it an obstacle while investing in Thailand.
More than 20 Years in the Making
The NASDAQ100 fell 3.1% (down 14.2%), and the Morgan Stanley High Tech index declined 2.3% (down 14.2%). The Semiconductors dipped 1.1% (down 13.1%). The Street.com Internet Index added 0.2% (down 11.4%) and the NASDAQ Telecommunications index recovered 1.1% (down 11.9%). The volatile Biotechs sank 6.5% (down 6.0%). Financial stocks went into panic melt-up mode. The Broker/Dealers surged 6.3% (down 8.5%) and the Banks 10.3% (down 2.4%). With Bullion surging $30.80, the HUI Gold index gained 5.9% (up 12.8%). More melt-up... Three-month Treasury bill rates collapsed 58 bps the past week to 2.26%. Two-year government yields sank 15 bps to 2.20%. Five-year T-note yields declined 7 bps to 2.77%, and ten-year yields fell 7 bps to 3.56%. Long-bond yields were one basis point lower at 4.27%.
